HMS SOCIETY

2019 - 2021

HMS Society thrives to bond all the diplomas in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I had to participate in a Leadership Adventure Camp in 2018 and go through two rounds of interviews before getting accepted into Society.

I was serving this CCA as the Vice-President, where I supervised the planning and execution of various events alongside with the President and vetted through the proposals from different departments. Being able to join HMS Society as a Co-Curriculum Activity has definitely provided me enrichment to grow myself to be a confident and strong team player.

Hi!Club

2018 - 2019

Hi!Club aims to better understand the deaf culture by learning their language as well as engaging with individuals from different walks of life through events and camps.

In Hi!Club we learn sign language that can be used to communicate with the hearing impaired. We also learn song signing which will be performed during special events.

I was in the planning committee for both Opening Ceremony 2018 and Closing Ceremony 2019, videography department and programmes department respectively. Those opportunities encouraged me to brush up on my hard skills and planning skills that were necessary in having a successful Opening & Closing Ceremony respectively.

Joining Hi!Club has also broaden my knowledge on the deaf community, allowing me to better understanding them and empathise with them. However, I stopped attending Hi!Club after completing both Basic A and Basic B to put more emphasis on my studies.

ROBOTICS @ APEX

2014 - 2017

Joined robotics during my time in the School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST). Went for various local and overseas competitions such as Singapore VEX & World VEX.

Awards obtained:

Singapore VEX Robotics Competition 2014 (Runner up)
Singapore VEX Robotics Competition 2015 (Championship)
World VEX Robotics Championship 2015 (Service Award)
World VEX Robotics Championship 2015 (Sportsmanship Award)

TABLES TENNIS

2010 - 2013

Was in the school team for Xingnan primary school's table tennis team. Represented the school for various inter-school tournaments; West-Zone Competition 2012.
